These firefights can look pretty extraordinary, especially when all four players are tightly clustered, trying to defend an objective. The key here is how enemies react when shot: each bullet strike spawns little bits of blood or smoke, alongside chunks of viscera or mechanical bits. It makes the simple act of firing at enemies satisfying.

Team up with friends to fight aliens across PC and PS5. Hordes are attacking, and humanity needs defenders. This third-person shooter appears to evolve the formula of the original arcade-like experience, and crossplay ensures players can stay together.

Work your way up to the more difficult missions. If you try them right at the beginning, you'll probably fail. Be sure to unlock more weapons and stratagems before you make the leap to challenging difficulty levels.
